Then, we took the 101 to Hollywood, California.
We parked on Hollywood Blvd and meandered on the Walk of Fame, taking pictures of Stars and admiring the Chinese Theater. We checked out where Johnny went to school- Musicians Institute.
Then, we drove to La Brea Tar Pits and followed the tour. We toured in record time- a half hour! It smelled like fresh asphalt and looked like hot springs bubbling.
We went back towards Hollywood Blvd and Orange St to enjoy our very first In and Out Burger! It did not disappoint. It was inexpensive and tasted pretty good. We ended up staying for dessert- a milkshake.
After being refueled, we decided to drive as close as we could to the Hollywood sign. The trip took us 30 minutes, but we found the perfect location through winding roads and massive hills. On our way, we stopped at a scenic overlook that had a view of the entire city.
Once we enjoyed the sign, we drove to our temporary housing in Bristow, California.
